मुद्दतों बाद आज फिर कलम पकड़ी हैमैने,
स चता हों तेऱी कु छ अच्छाई फलख डालूँ।
तू बता वो झूठे इश्क के जुमले फलखों,
या तेऱी कु छ बेविाई फलख डालूँ!!

एक अरसेसेअके ला टहल रहा था मैं,
सोचता हूँ आज व अपनी तन्हाई फलख डालूँ।
फजस वफा-ए-इश्क का सहारा था हर वक्त मेरेसाथ,
स चता हों उस़ी इश्क क़ी गहराई फलख डालूँ!!

कल गया था फिर उस़ी चौराहेपर,
अच्छा लगा जान के क़ी तेरे फकस्से खास-ओ-आम है,
तवज्ज फदया जैसेत खुदा ह मेऱी,
पर तपऱी बस्त़ी में बदनाम है।।
