After reading the title many of you must be thinking that this blog will be about “LOVE” or something around that.
But, but, but… hold on, this is not about those butterflies you feel in your stomach that are associated with love. This is about different butterflies, the kind of butterflies that belong to the kingdom of fear, suspicion and confusion.
And the mind, it is always sorted, the mind always knows what is right and what is wrong, and the mind always thinks rationally.
But we are humans full of emotions, and once in a while we have to face a fight between our mind and our heart. I often hear people saying that they don’t have a heart or their heart is made up of stone, but the thing is that it applies to a particular situation in their life, not to every situation.
And I think it’s even impossible to do. One cannot suppress one thing over the other. People who accept this thing can have more strength to face difficult situations. Again what a person calls a difficult situation is also very subjective. It varies person to person. But the only thing that remains constant here is acceptance. To make your life easy you have to accept the fact that you are not alone facing difficulties in life, everyone is facing their own set of problems in life. You cannot remove the difficult situations from our life, all we can do is give time to ourselves to accept that you are not alone.
Healing is a part of life. We often try to suppress our emotions and I think that is the worst thing in the long term. There is a quote I came across recently and it became one of my favourite quotes. It states that “Sometimes your heart needs more time to accept what your mind already knows, give it that time”. People tend to see other people’s difficulties through their own lenses. It is very easy to say oh come one be positive, but keep reminding yourself of this quote, give yourself that time to heal, to recover, and after healing just rock the world ! I hope these few words will bring some positivity to your day.
