Solace

Trying to find solace.

In the depths of the darkness,
That still persists within me.
I am reminded every day,
Of the monotony of loneliness,
That has decided not to let go of me.

Because when I kiss,
I can tell you that the cells in my body,
Have completely disregarded,
Rather forgotten to get excited.
It feels as if they have forgotten,
What it is like being loved.
Not once.
Not at all.
