काश मैं हमेशा की तरह,

उस दिन भी अपना चश्मा भूल जातीं।

काश उस दिन भी वो रास्ता ही धुंधला नजर आता।

काश उस दिन भी खुद को यह कह कर बहला लेती,

कि मुझे कुछ दिखाई नहीं दे रहा।

काश कुछ उस दिन भी मेरी आंखें मुझसे नाराज़ हो जाती,

शायद फिर उसका जाना आसान हो जाता।
