Twenty Four

We glance at the grey bricked wall, inscribed with pink ivy.
With your ability to briskly wear me down
The night is brighter than ever.
My words will never be enough to estimate your worth,
But who am I to decide how much you deserve?
All I can do is immerse myself,
Every moment you choose not to leave.
In every travel through the woods,
In the wind, in your shoes.
In the crowns that we wear,
In the uncertainty of hope.
I wish you would choose to stay longer.
