अब इन बातों का मतलब नहीं,

अब ये रोने का मौक़ा नहीं,

मैं भी रोया था इक रोज़ आगे तेरे,

ये नहीं कि मैंने तुझको रोका नहीं ।

देख कर अब मुझे ग़ैर के साथ में,

आंख यूं लाल करने का क्या फ़ायदा?

काल मेरी बिज़ी है अगर रात में,

फोन को तोड़ देने से क्या फायदा?

अब यूं जलने से क्या ?

अब यूं रोने से क्या ?

रात आंसू से तकिया भिगोने से क्या ?

साभ मन्नत का धागा जो बांधा कभी,

उसको मंदिर से फिर खोल देने से क्या ?

जो बिछड़ते समय तुमने मुझसे कहा ,

बात वो ही तुम्हें मैं अर्ज़ करता हूं,

*मैं तुमसे बेहतर डिजर्व करता हूं*।

* मैं तुमसे बेहतर डिजर्व करता हूं* ।
